Guiding Light Outreach Inc. lends our voice to raise awareness on community issues, policy change,
and people empowerment. Through partnerships with other stakeholders, we support and advocate for
victims and survivors.  Advocacy work includes awareness, prevention, and outreach. 

Training and Prevention Education
Guiding Light Outreach Inc. provides trauma-informed training.
Awareness and prevention education to law enforcement, service providers, corporate groups,
caregivers, schools, healthcare providers, parents, and at-risk young people. To request

Outreach: 

Guiding Light Outreach Inc. serves as a beacon of light in our local communities. Our outreach events are
not only to identify and serve those affected by trauma but also to identify those with risk factors and
meet those needs as a preventive measure. 

- Homeless feedings and support

- Care packages for individuals that are still experiencing the lifestyle of human trafficking in local
clubs and local streets that are known for sexual exploitation. 
- Collaborative community events

Outreach is being present in the community and serving. Awareness provides information. Prevention is
about assessing the risk factors and addressing those needs to decrease vulnerability. – Shanika Ampah
