Mentorship: Mentor/ Mentee

M: Mentorship: Mentor/ Mentee

Life skills and personal development: Guiding Light Outreach Inc. knows that peer-to-peer mentorship
and support groups work. Many individuals who have been affected by sexual abuse and/or human
trafficking have the resilience to overcome. Along the journey, we help survivors develop the life skills
needed to get back to living. Glo Inc. provides a twelve-month mentorship and support group to female
eighteen and older.

Our monthly survivor support groups serve as a safe community for survivors to share and receive
support from other peers. We socialize and heal together. This group includes survivors and family
members of those who have been trafficked.
If you are interested in finding out how to refer for this mentorship or how you can sponsor a survivor,
please contact us at (786)346-1602.

S. Support Services
As a guiding light we can make referrals to our community partners and agencies that provide direct
care or needed social services. The process of healing is an ongoing journey that should be
individualized. Anyone that has experienced trauma needs a community to wrap around them for
support. To provide these types of supportive services, GLO needs the help of our community. We
cannot do this alone and welcome you to join us.

You can help by any of the means listed below. We are always open to other ideas and
opportunities you.

Who do we serve:
We serve individuals in our community that are more likely to be abused and exploited. These
individuals can be found in several sub-cultures within our communities. To serve these populations
